n points.
1. Hongkong and China was so awesome that I did not want to come back :( awwww.
2. My plan to make China a monastery failed cause I spent all my time snowboarding instead of what I was SUPPOSED to do :(
3. You should never go to Hongkong with a tour group - the trip with the band was okay only because of the awesome company the band gave, but apart from that it sucked balls. After I got to travel around Hongkong alone though, I loved that place.
4. I new a new Blogger background / template / etc but let's just say I am too lazy.
5. BTW, BRAND NEW ARASHI FAN OVER HERE :D lots to catch up on, but it's not impossible HURHUR.
6. Fuck you Geography EE, time and again I regret not fighting for that History EE...
7. Okay sorry time to change topic back to Hongkong / China.
8. Hongkong was awesome - it has great food EVERYWHERE. As according to my aunt, THE DIRTIER THE PLACE, THE BETTER THE FOOD. True okay! Dirty = cheap too hehehe :D Ate awesome Wanton Noodles... I don't know Duck Noodles... Even their "normal" bowl of noodles is awesome (I ate 出前一定 noodles for breakfast one day and it was so. Fucking. Good.)
9. If anyone wants to go to HK for some short trip or something PLEASE ASK ME ALONG I am willing to fly budget and go there <3 br=""> 10. Hongkong is some sort of SHOPPING PARADISE, the likes of Bonjour and SaSa two must-gos in Hongkong. You will never be able to miss them cause of their trademark flashing neon lights and they are fucking EVERYWHERE. There's one every 100m or less, really. They sell the cheapest cosmetic products - I bought a huge stash of Heroine Make at insanely cheap prices (Mascara for HKD79 I think) and I bought this awesome Crabtree and Evelyn hand lotion that is said to be a quarter of its prices in Singapore. Though IMO I buy the Heroine Make is to waste money. I don't even use make-up with the exception of BB Creams~ oh and speaking of BB Creams, Sheryl's same brand of BB Cream is cheaper in the SaSa in HK than SG :D
11. Night markets are a must go too! I suggest working around them in a systematic error so that you won't miss a single store :D I bought one of those cutesy thumbdrives (you know those super bulky and pretty much useless ones) and cute looking gloves and clothes and bags and... hen duo hen duo hen duo :D
12. Hongkong is like some Hello Kitty para-paradise~ I remember Lihui telling me that Hongkong = HK = Hello Kitty :D you get Hello Kitty instant noodles (hee photos up soon) and loads of Hello Kitty stores everywhere (bought a new Hello Kitty tin pencil case. Extremely afraid to use it though in case it gets dented T-T)
13. Octopus Card > EzLink. MTR > MRT. 'Nuff Said
14. Their convenience stalls are A-W-E-S-O-M-E. They sell EVERY SINGLE THING. I bought a Stitch soft toy from there teehee :D
15. Hongkong's H&M and Zara is super cheap. I fucking swear swear swear. So bring all your money there to spend! Bought stuff from H&M but not Zara :( I only realized that their Zara was super cheap at the HK airport and I was afraid that I'd miss my flight so... I didn't buy a shit ): I was so "heartbroken" I immediately texted my father to complain and after I boarded... Well my plane was delayed for 3 fucking hours I mean 3 fucking hours and we were not allowed to get off the plane.
16. Sitting beside inconsiderate people on the plane is a bitch.
17. Ocean Park > Disneyland. Now you know where to head to in Hongkong.
18. I was aiming for 14 points to "recreate" the Wilson's Fourteen Point Treaty. I obviously failed \m/
19. China was... Well really really cold.
20. If you're a ski / snowboarding addict or with intentions to ski, there is no need to bring another jacket other than your ski jacket because it is warm enough for you to wear it everywhere~ and the best thing about it? You can wear a t-shirt inside and not feel cold AT ALL :D
21. Jeans are a must have, leggings too.
22. Long sleeved shirts are (Y)
23. Thermal wear is... TBH not necessary.
24. Winter is the best weather to sleep in. Everywhere is cold but AHAH! Yo bed is warm XD
25. It is unfair. You can clean your house once in a million years in China and not attract a single ant. In Singapore, we clean our houses daily. Eff.
26. The ability to bargain is a compulsory skill in China. Really. If you cannot bargain, bring along someone that can!
27. Being able to use squat toilets is a compulsory skill in Hongkong and China.
28. Oh btw the toilets in China / Hongkong have blood all over the floor :O
29. And the toilets have no doors o.o
30. Tissue paper is a must bring everywhere you go (apart from your money and your mobile phone I guess)
31. There are really pretty China girls / Hongkies. Hongkong guys are actually pretty good looking, though nothing compared to the good looking guys in Japan WTF.
32. I must must must MUST MUST MUST go to Japan next year, to revisit the good looking guys / USS / awesome food. And of course, (hopefully) go to some Arashi concert :D
33. And I MUST watch 2NE1 live next year, again.
34. And / or go to Germany to watch TOKIO HOTEL :D
35. I am now digressing at an extreme rate; BACK TO TOPIC.
36. My dad cooked for us while we were in China *o* this is like some... Once in a blue moon thing, LITERALLY.
37. There was an eclipse while I was in China and I was in the perfect place to see it (Ski resort = ulu mountains) and guess what? No one told me so I missed the fucking whole of it. And my dad was aware of it since morning cause he watched the news );
38. Hot baths / showers + Winters = BEST FEELING EVER.
39. Surviving China while having my period: CHALLENGE ACCOMPLISHED.
40. Snowboarding while having my period: CHALLLENGE ACCOMPLISHED.
41. Time flies while you are having fun x1million. Back to Singapore = back to reality = back to IB life.
42. And last but not least (cause I seem to have run out of bullshit to say, or rather it is damn hot now and I wanna retreat back to my room and reply Sheryl's SMS), a super super big THANK YOU to PK and Parky for giving me entertainment while I was in China :) you guys were... An inspiration to me life HAHAHAHA. 3>Labels: China, daily, holiday, Hong Kong
