❝ Friends (or the lack thereof...?) ❞

I am really glad that I have never been the kind that enjoyed making a lot of friends, and will choose to make a small group of really close friends rather than to mingle around with everyone else.

I think this comes sort of late given that the last day of school is long over (though we still go to school unofficially from time to time), today's late night conversation with Andrew made me realize how fortunate I have been to have found a friend in him - one who is ever so amusing, ever so funny, and ever so generous. I am glad that I had the honor of being his friend and classmate for these two years.

And he's not the only one. The list goes on, but it is still countable with one hand. I used to feel sorry for myself because of the lack of friends that I made in JC, but I today came to realize that the lack of many friends was offset by the having of really really great friends whose friendships I will value in the time to come. Thank you to these people, who have been the wind beneath my wings.

Why am I awake at 3AM, typing an emotional blog post when I am supposed to be studying. Or at least sleeping? I guess my late night talk today has been poignant and made me think a lot about life.

12 days to IB, still not panicking. Screwed.
