Blogger seems very determined to piss me off but I shall upload do my post bit by bit and hopefully do not need to pull all my hair out HAHAHA.
Arrive in Bangkok on the second last day of Songkran, and got a view of the road where people were celebrating from this cafe that I was waiting at for my train (and obviously, jewing WiFi from).
So basically what happens is that you pour water on others. Most families will get a pick up truck and they will sit at the back of the truck with a barrel of water. We however got to sit on a six-wheel truck with like 4 barrels of water HIAHIAHIA. It is not only water, but water with ICE. Which makes it fucking cold in contrast to the hot weather hehe makes one scream in pain.
Don Mueang Station, where I waited (super long) for the northbound train to Chiang Mai. The train before ours derailed and we had to wait for a bus to Chiang Mai -
And this dude was just there meditating. And I was happily shooting photos of him HAHA. He must have been judging me behind his shades.
Throngs of people fighting to get on the bus~
Hot angmohs armed with guns for Songkran haha cannot believe that that guy even posed for my photo ~^^~
Locals treating us like a circus act HAHA.
Cute baby and her mummy :))) After seeing me take photos of the baby, this group came to take photos with her. The dude is Belgian and he is really funny HAHAHA.
Finally got to Chiang Mai like four hours late. First meal~
Laksa like thing that Nath insisted that was better than laksa but... nah.
The place we ate for dinner was beautiful -
Blue (butterfly) Pea drink. Tonnes of this growing in my garden but no we do not drink it HAHA.
You are supposed to wrap the stuff on the left with the leaf. The leaf is supposed to be folded like how one folds filter paper (that was how Nath taught me, after mocking me saying that I was not a chemistry student D:) This stuff is pretty interesting and good :)
Roti Prata and green curry~~~ The Roti Prata was significantly sweeter than ours.
I do not usually eat fish, but this fish was pretty good.
They have an obsession with orchids. They are really pretty though so not complaining.
MY FAVORITE. IN ITS MORE ORIGINAL FORM.
FRIED ISUKREMU.
Went to their Night Safari which puts Singapore's one to SHAME. Their Night Safari is actually a Night Safari. Ours is just a pile of shit.
At the night market this guy was making music with glasses. Pretty interesting~
In Thailand, they eat Rotee (pretty much like our Roti Prata) as a form of dessert. I.E. with condensed milk and chocolate syrup and stuff.
I SWEAR THEY HAVE THE BEST FUCKING INSTANT FOOD OK. THIS RICE BURGER IS GODLY AMAZING. IF I STAYED IN THAILAND I WOULD BE LIVING OFF 7 ELEVEN ALL FUCKING DAY.
Photo of Toro - that cute adorable little dog :)) pity my photos could do him no justice (sorry I am just too lazy to post process). That hyper active dog forced me to rev down the shutter speed and the dim indoor light gave me no choice but to rev up the ISO :((
Had a go at being a professional photographer. Helped Nath's elder sister to take photos of her design~
The Chiang Mai skyline~~~
FRIED QUAIL EGGS. Fucking awesome things hehe not to mention unhealthy but who gives a flying fuck :) my trip to Thailand threw out all my health routines. My metabolism is still very high so I am still stuffing my face :3 this has to change though. Maybe tomorrow hehe.
Angmohs grabbing on to the back of this red "taxi". This is going down the mountains, mind you HAHA. Some balls over there.
Old lady selling fruits. Pity that the moment I tried to get a shot she turned :(
Exotic food as follows~
I swear they are the cutest cutest siblings ever <3 span="">3>
See the white stuff below? That is whipped cream guys.
Let's not even talk about how I am terrible at paintball HAHAHA I THINK I NEARLY CRIED. IF I WERE AN AUDIENCE I'D ALSO HAVE CRIED AT MY STUPIDITY HAHAHA.
I swear this is fucking godly for an instant burger ok. Fucking amazing stuff it tastes even better than Fillet-O-Fish. Let's ignore the fact that CP brings back so much memories.
The douche is in da house~
Cannot decide which of the above two is better HAHAHA.
Rode on these wooden carts :) pretty interesting but my butt hurt haha. And once more it was another lesson as to what I have no potential in (I fear for my driving exams pfft)
Andddd I was off to Bangkok -
Real hair guys.
Remember our Geography Case Studies? Hehe.
There was an entire street selling Shark's Fin. Ugh.
The hotel was located next to the local market~ The hotel was pretty terrible in terms of cleanliness - the sofas and beds made me itchy and I had to place a towel on the bed to sleep. That said, the location is pretty good and the staff were really helpful and nice.
Was texting Joseph and he told me about skies with stars and I went to draw the curtains. I was greeted with a beautiful grey "sky".
Went to the famous touristy place - Grand Palace. Terrible though, how it was flooded with China people :( however I realized that they all disappeared after about noon, so I guess that is a good time to go to these touristy places? The massive number of Chinese tourists made the place a very good location for spreading Falungong messages.
Fishball noodles from a road side stall :) Finally found the guts to eat street food after my huge diarrhea from JB haha.
I swear the Reclining Buddha is fucking huge.
I swear I had the best Pad Thai ever at SP at DMK. I love how the security check is immediately after the immigration, meaning that one can bring food and drinks on to the budget planes :) sucks though, that they did not have trolleys there. And the checking in for Air Asia was fucking terrible.
And I loveeeee to eat alone so that I can take all the photos I want :D this is the best Pad Thai I have ever ever eaten omg. And their coffee is pretty good.
A really lame pun but I absolutely love the blue color in contrast to the brown of the serviettes.
Air Asia was not too disappointing I guess, although they did ask me to pay $45 cause I did not select for check in baggage when buying the tickets (blame Expedia lol). Apart from that I love how they are incredibly punctual.
Bangkok's skyline, and what I assume is the beautiful majestic Chao Phraya (my case study for my Geography IB exams hehehe)
