Finally here to upload my Hong Kong photos :) went to Hong Kong for the nth time (just cause I love the place so much) so this time I made it a point to visit places that I did not go to the previous times. Very very image heavy (sorry). Please enjoy :D :D :D
The beautiful view at Hong Kong International Airport
My first ever meal in Hong Kong - street side wanton noodles
Traditional noodle making stall
CBD of Hong Kong
Unknown fruits (can someone please enlighten me?)
Mangoes! (Speaking of which, traveled all the way to Bugis today to buy durians and ended up shit durians + mangoes + jackfruits. Which I happily ate. GG.)
Impending thunderstorm
Rubber Ducky at Victoria Harbor (why, hello there!)
My new pet
Like my new baby?
Rubber Duck + Central cityscape
Off to Macau:
City scape from the windows of the ferry terminal
Beautiful old lanes of Macau
Shop owner posing for me at a traditional bakery
Senado Square:
Ruins of St Paul (I swear I look like I am ten most of the time):
I need plastic surgery for my eyes
HAHAHA still very amused by this. I call this building "the obiang building" and it has been used by me as a landmark
*drool*
This cutie went on to the stage and did not want to get off~~~
Beautiful beautiful kitty. Its name was siu bak (xiao bai):
Love this super unique way of drinking milk tea
Because road side stalls will always be the best
My Joong Ki. Was attacking him and a chinese tourist saw and she was like "GO GO GO! HUG HIM HUG HIM!" HAHAHA:
I need to photoshop my face on to the bitch's. Who gave her the right to steal my guy?
Interesting and overpriced puff
Traditional biscuit shop
I think this was called wood shavings or something? Or maybe saw dust. Cannot remember, but it definitely did taste like it.
Love how Macau has beautiful wall murals / graffiti
Back to Hong Kong: -
Officially my favoritest dessert store, called Smile at K11:
And my favoritest Japanese restaurant, Tomita near Jordan MTR:
Cheng Chau Island:
Cheng Chau is famous for their buns and their bun festival. The "mission" is to climb the tower and to reach as high as possible for the buns. This was stopped though, when one year the tower collapsed on the crowd :((
OMNOMNOMNOM
Super happy doggy on the beach:
Bestest Okonomiyaki I have ever ever ever eaten!!! (It is vegetarian and it was close to the birthday of the Buddha so~~~)
Lantau Island:
We purposely planned to go to Lantau Island on a day when there was no rain but hey who knew that Hong Kong's weather forecast was so terrible but yes it was pouring on that day T___T it stopped though, and the sky was all beautiful and clear again :)
Po Lin Monastery:
Love Lantau and how there are cows roaming around everywhere (totally ignoring the fact that they shit everywhere too)
Tai O Fishing Village:
Mummy and Child playing with each other~ according to the owner the father of the kitten is unknown
Tai O is mainly filled with older people and young children. Saw a few teenagers around but they evidently had to travel pretty far to their school :(
The villagers must hate the country for building the airport so close to
them - one could hear the rumbling of the planes interrupting the
tranquility of the village every ten minutes or so
Back to the mainland again:
Anddd back to Singapore T__T
This was not the plane I took BTW HAHALabels: food, holiday, photography
